CREATE YOUR OWN WALL: PADLET!

Image
Hello everyone🙋!   I wasn’t active so much here because of my midterms but now I’m free😁. I'm here with another great way that we can use not just in education but in lots of areas. It’s Padlet. Let’s talk about it.   Padlet is a wall which you can create and add something online. Students can create their own walls or they can work together collaboratively. They can add photos or videos on their walls.   Actually, I had lots of papers on my wall in my room when I was studying for the university exam and they were really helpful. Think about how they can be helpful if they are more colorful and full with visuals? Since the new generation is doing everything with technology, we should prepare new technological ways to catch their attention and teach them language in an entertaining way.💫✎💥   It’s also beneficial in terms of developing their working skills in group works. Like we talked in the post Wiki (padlet is more limited in terms of accessing), it’s another

WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH WIKI!

Hello everyone🙋!   This week, the tool that I’m going to talk about is Wiki!   Wiki is a website where you can share lots of things. But it has a special feature: You can edit the other entries and other users can edit yours publicly. It’s so helpful to work collaboratively and see different perspectives as a one body of ideas💫!   I and my friend Elif wrote a review of an Indian movie: Dangal. You can read it by clicking here !🙌   Thank you for your time.   See you!

GREAT WAY FOR LEARNING : PODCASTING!

Image
Hello everyone🙋!   I hope you’re all well. Today, we’re going to talk about an interesting way that we can use in language classes: Podcasting🎤!   Podcast is digital audio file or series of files available on the Internet   which you can download and listen whenever and wherever you want. You can find lots of podcasts about different topics.   When I heard it in our Educational Technology class I felt anxious about creating one because I’d never heard of it before but it’s a great tool for both students and teachers. Students can create their own podcasts and listen to their own voices. They can listen to other people and improve both listening and speaking skills. Teachers can use it to integrate different topics with the class. They can want students to make some activities based on the podcast and bring their works to the class.   It was my assignment to create an idea to change the world and record it in 60 seconds as a podcast. The hardest thing was to find

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF RSS?

Hello everyone🙋!   I hope you’re doing well😊. I want to start with a question today. Do you want to follow your favourite blogs and know when they share posts? There’s a great tool to help you : RSS!   RSS helps you to keep your favourite blogs in your timeline and let you know whenever one of them shares a new post. So, you don’t have to check each of them everyday.     We all read something on the internet to get help or to learn something on the sites or blogs. Even if we like some of them, we don't go back and see what’s new because it’s hard to check each of them. RSS comes to the stage here💥!   It allows us to create a timeline and follow our favourite websites and blogs to not to miss anything. This is my feedreader timeline and my favourite blog   Let’s talk about how to use it. You can download it or you can use it online, doesn’t matter. I just started to use feedreader  and followed some blogs! My favourite one is Özge Karaoğlu’s blog. She shares lo
